Annual 2004 NOBTS Alumni & Friends Luncheon
Wednesday, June 16 immediately following the morning session of the SBC NOBTS Alums and Friends will gather for their annual luncheon. The luncheon is always a great time of fellowship and reunion, and will include a message from Dr. Chuck Kelley. Tickets are $10 each before June 1, $12 after June 1st.

Seminary Prof defends Bible on College Campus
Dr. Robert Stewart addressed a group of students and faculty on the campus of the University of New Orleans. The event sponsored by the BSM on the UNO campus sought to defend the Bible in response to courses being offered on the college campus. Leavell Center Addresses the 'Demographic Island'
The Leavell Center for Evangelism and Church Health asks the question, "Are You A Demographic Island.?" Many modern churches have become "demographic and psychographic islands" in their ministry areas. This occurs when the people inside a church no longer represent the community in which they are located. A plateau occurs, followed by a decline in membership. Leadership looks for ways to counteract the decline, seeking a way to understand the reasons for the attrition. Maybe the Leavell Center for Evangelism and Church Growth can help…

Seminary Holds Memorial Service for Dr. Jim Headrick
The NOBTS family held a memorial service on March 12 for Dr. Jim Headrick. Members of the Headrick family and Seminary community gathered to remember the life of this servant of Christ. Please continue to pray for the Headrick family.
