REGISTRATION OPENS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2 Spring 2010 online registration for returning students opens Monday, November 2 at 9:00 AM Central Time and closes on Monday, November 16 at 4:00 PM Central Time. Students entering the PhD program in the Spring 2010 semester will register by completing a paper registration form included in the acceptance letter following the November 2 Doctoral Admissions Committee meeting and submitting it to the Office of Research Doctoral Programs by November 16. Features of the Spring 2010 PhD Schedule include a block format for Christian education courses and psychology and counseling courses, as in the Fall 2009 PhD Schedule. In addition, the preaching seminar is scheduled in a modified block format in the spring. Students interested in taking Latin for continuing education credit through Providence Learning Center during the upcoming semester should contact J. P. Cox in the Providence Learning Center at jpcox@nobts.edu or (504) 282-4455, ext. 8442. Current PhD students in biblical studies areas who need Latin as their secondary nonbiblical language should be prepared to take the Latin proficiency examination administered through the Office of Research Doctoral Programs following the first semester of Latin. Completion of both semesters of Latin will prepare PhD applicants using Latin as their primary nonbiblical language to take the Latin entrance examination. |
