Graduate Course Schedules

Revised MDiv and MA Degrees for August 1, 2011


The following newly revised Standard Master of Divinity, Master of Divinity Specializations, Master of Arts degrees, and Graduate Certificates were approved by Trustee action in April 2011 and are effective August 1, 2011. Students currently enrolled in a master's program should consult the guide for information regarding transitioning into the revised degree programs.


Spring 2012 and 2012-2013 Graduate Schedule


Spring classes begin on Tuesday, January 17, 2011. This year the graduate schedule offers the following semester course options: (1) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday-only as well as Tuesday/Thursday and Wednesday/Friday classes on campus; (2) online courses; (3) bi-weekly courses that meet eight times during the semester, and (4) hybrid Internet or threaded discussion courses offered via Blackboard.

    Please note that for the spring master's courses, you will need to access the Spring 2012 Master's Internet-Available Courses schedule for Internet courses available. All other master's courses are shown on the Spring 2011 Master's Classroom-Available Courses schedule.

    Also note that courses listed in the 2011-2012 course schedule are color coded to assist in reading and locating courses by graduate divisions:

    • Biblical Studies—red
    • Christian Education—blue
    • Pastoral Ministries—green
    • Theological & Historical Studies—purple/dark blue
    • Church Music—mauve

    Course titles are linked to syllabi as they become available. Faculty information may be accessed via the links to the faculty names on the schedules. 

    In addition, classes may be taken via extension centers. Schedules for each extension center are listed under the individual extension center pages.
