Welcome to the home page of Leavell Chapel Ministries at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary! Our president, Dr. Chuck Kelley, created the Dean of the Chapel ministry position at our institution for two purposes: 1) to enhance our chapel worship experiences through consistent leadership and intentional planning, and 2) to keep before our seminary family a model for biblical exposition and pastoral preaching. I have the incredible privilege of serving in this capacity.

Our desire in the chapel ministry is to address the core value of spiritual vitality at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. This site is intended to offer seminary students and faculty, local church pastors, and other ministers an opportunity to increase their effectiveness in preaching God's Word. A description of each of the facets included on this site are listed below:

Chapel services are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the semester at 11:00am. 

Watch Chapel Live

Chapel services are streamed live all through the Fall and Spring semesters for the benefit of those who can't join us each week here on campus. All you need is an internet connection and a copy of Windows Media Player (or equivalent) that usually comes with your computer.

All of our chapel services are broadcast live on the Internet. They can be viewed by clicking on the link at the top of this page. In addition, we have archives for all of our chapel services from January 2000 to the present. Simply click on this link and search our database to watch any of our chapel services. Imagine a society of contemporary preachers who have laid their lives at the foot of the cross and risen with a passion to carry the mantle of biblical preaching passed down to them by great men of the past.
