NOBTS Concerts and Events

On Thursday, April 26, the NOBTS Seminary Chorus, NOBTS Youth Choir, NOBTS Youth Orchestra, and NOBTS instrumentalist will present "The Story of Worship." This presentation will include works by Stravinsky, Haydn, Mendelssohn, Handel, and modern selections. The pieces will be presented in a manner that reflects liturgical models, with interesting substitutions for standard mass movements. For example, Handel's "O Fatal Consequence" from Handel's Oratorio, Saul, will serve as a Kyrie. We cordially invite you to join us for this unique worship experience. For a blog discussion related to this concert, see http://www.incarnationalworship.wordpress.com.

On May 1st at 7 PM in Sellers Recital Hall on the NOBTS campus the Seminarians will be presenting their annual spring concert. This year’s concert will include contemporary worship song arrangements, hymn arrangements, a Hebrew piece, and 20th/21st century sacred art songs. Our NOBTS children’s choir will also be featured in the concert. We hope you can join us for this engaging hour of worship.
