Ben Browning is originally from Georgia, but he has lived in and around South Louisiana since 2012. He is married and has two children. He has a passion for teaching and leading the church and has done so in a variety of ways, including as an associate pastor, an interim pastor, and a senior pastor. Ben is also committed to training students as they prepare to fulfill Lord's the mission and serve His church.
Ben has earned an MDiv in Biblical Languages and a Ph.D. in New Testament from NOBTS; he has done additional graduate work in English. His primary research interest is the social and historical setting of the New Testament. A modified form of his dissertation was published by PickWick publications in February 2022, entitled Facing the Mob: Rome, the Crowd, and the New Testament.
