5 Ways to Engage

1. Traditional Online (asynchronous)
This format is the standard, semester-long course where students work at their convenience.

2. NOLA2U Flex (synchronous or asynchronous)
This format allows online students the choice of NOLA2U Live (below), or to view the recorded lecture anytime within the week.

3. NOLA2U Live (synchronous)
This format is a weekly, live lecture broadcast from campus. Online students join the class each week and interact live. It offers the benefit of classroom learning with online convenience.

4. Mentoring 
This format blends online instruction with weekly mentoring and ministry service. Click Here for more information

5. Weekend Hybrid
This format blends traditional online instruction offered throughout the semester with two days of in-person instruction offered on one weekend (Friday and Saturday) during the semester. Click Here for more information.

Are the Online Courses Accredited?

Yes. All NOBTS courses are accredited.

I registered for an online course but cannot access the course on Canvas.

To access an online course in Canvas, you must first register for the course through the online Student Portal . Then you will see the course once it is published in Canvas. If you do not see a course for which you are registered by the first day of class, please email canvas@nobts.edu .

Are the Courses Transferable to Other Institutions?

Yes (as long as it fits into their degree program and other requirements). To be sure, please check (before you enroll for the Internet class) with the institution to which you want to transfer the credit.

WHAT DO I NEED TO TAKE AN ONLINE CLASS?

      The Caskey Center provides full tuition scholarships for Baptist bivocational/ small church ministers from selected states. These scholarships apply to certificate, undergraduate, or master's students in any NOBTS delivery system.
