Bio

Richard serves as the Associate Vice President of Auxiliary Services and Operations and as an Assistant Professor of Expository Preaching. He brings more than twenty years of ministry experience, having served congregations in Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana. His teaching and research focus on the fields of preaching and biblical theology, with particular interest in how Scripture informs both the content and methodology of preaching. Richard is committed to equipping current and future pastors and church leaders to love God’s Word and proclaim it faithfully for the glory of God and the edification of the church.

Richard and his wife, Maribeth, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, have one adult daughter, Gabi, and a son-in-law, Blaine Stephenson.
