Bio

Lloyd A. Harsch grew up in California, Manitoba and North Dakota. He has written on ethnic Baptist life, Baptist distinctives, and religious liberty. In 2010, he became the founding Director of the Institute for Faith and the Public Square and in 2018 became Chair (now Divisional Associate Dean) of the Theological & Historical Division. Harsch has served churches in North Dakota, Texas, Kansas and Louisiana. He is married with two adult children and resides in New Orleans, LA.
