Bio

Having over 17 years of experience in the local church, Adam Hughes teaches courses in preaching, leadership, and pastoral ministries. He has been a guest speaker and lecturer for numerous convention and associational meetings, chapel services, expository preaching workshops, men’s conferences, and revivals. Adam's writing has appeared on Preaching Source's and Theological Matters' websites. He also has been a contributor to several edited works including Small Church, Excellent Ministry: A Guidebook for Pastors and Together We Equip: Integrating Discipleship and Ministry Leadership for Holistic Spiritual Formation. Most recently he wrote “The Soul of the Evangelistic Expository Sermon: From Broadus and Criswell to Rogers and Kelley” in the 2019 publication Engage: Tools for Contemporary Evangelism. Adam is currently co-authoring a textbook, which integrates leadership and administration in ministry leadership. This resource is expected to be available from Iron Stream Media/New Hope Publishers in the fall of 2021. He is also cohost of "Pastor to Pastor," a weekly podcast through the ministry of NOBTS.
