Bio

Jeff Nave’s research and writing has focused on personality variables impacting ministry training, counseling interventions with specific populations, and public service chaplaincy. He is most interested in the ethical dilemmas facing ministers, counselors and chaplains working in multiple arenas. Dr. Nave brings to the classroom professional experience in a number of settings. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Counseling Center at Northshore Church and as an Associate Pastor at Northshore Church in Slidell, LA. He also works with law enforcement personnel as a Chaplain and Critical Incident Response Specialist. Dr. Nave is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Approved Supervisor (LPC-S), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Board Approved Supervisor (LMFT-S), a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with the National Board of Certified Counselors, a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and Approved Supervisor (AAMFT), a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), an EMDR trained therapist, and is Louisiana POST Certified.

He and his wife, Darla, have three children
