Members of the NOBTS community are invited to attend “Race in the SBC” on Tuesday, Nov. 29 in Martin Chapel from 9:30-10:50 a.m. During the session, Leavell College students in Dr. Mike Eden’s “Southern Baptist Life” class will present research on race in the SBC. Following the presentations, the students will participate in a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Edens.

Topics for Nov. 29 session include: Jim Crow Laws and the Southern Baptist Convention (1881-1964) and Equality before the Law and the Southern Baptist Convention (1965-Present).
