New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary has an exciting option for students who want to participate in a mission and evangelism trip this summer - Crossover Birmingham, June 2-8, 2019.
NOBTS is teaming up with NAMB, and other SBC seminaries for an intense evangelistic outreach in the Birmingham area in the days leading up to the Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting in Birmingham (the SBC Pastors' Conference is June 9-10; the SBC Annual Meeting is June 11-12). Visit the NAMB Crossover site for more information.
Would you like to join in this intentional mission and evangelism effort?
In addition to the evangelism activities in the city, NOBTS graduate students may take Supervised Ministry I - Personal Evangelism Practicum (EVAN5230) team-taught by Drs. Preston Nix and Bo Rice. In addition to the practicum aspect of the course, some pre- and post-practicum work is required. Regular tuition and fee rates apply.
This year, Leavell College students can earn academic credit by participating in Crossover. Students will need to register for CMCM2380 Practice of Evangelism with Dr. Jeffrey Farmer. In addition to the practicum aspect of the course, some post-practicum work is required. Regular tuition and fee rates apply.
The North American Mission Board (NAMB) will provide meals and lodging for students. This year, NOBTS will provide special missions travel assistance to cover most of student travel costs to Birmingham.
